Lifetime Limited, Non-Prorated Warranty on PVC Components

Vista Patio Doors Inc. warrants that all of the extruded vinyl components on the Capri 2.0 (excluding those extruded in brown) will be free from defects that will cause peeling, flaking, splitting, chipping, blistering or corrosion for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

Lifetime Limited, Non-Prorated Warranty on Insulated Glass

(with the exception of Internal Mini-Blinds)

Vista Patio Doors Inc. warrants insulating glass units, on the Capri 2.0, from condensation and dust formation on the inner surfaces, should they be caused by seal failure for the lifetime of the original purchaser from the date of original installation (with the exception of Internal Mini-Blinds)

10 Year Limited, Non-Prorated Warranty on Internal Blinds

Vista Patio Doors Inc. warrants that all internal blinds will remain fully operational and that the insulated units will be free of defect caused by seal failure for a period of 10 years from original date of insulation. This warranty does

not cover failure resulting from misuse or negligence on the part of the purchaser

10 Year Limited, Non Prorated Warranty on Coated PVC

Vista Patio Doors Inc. warrants that all PVC coated by Vista or its agents, will be free from peeling, flaking, splitting, chipping, blistering or corrosion, for a period of 10 years. Scratches or conditions caused by outside agents or solvents are not covered under this warranty.

2 Year Limited, Non-Prorated Warranty on Hardware Components

Vista Patio Doors warrants that the doors rollers and sash locks on the Capri 2.0 will remain in operational order for a period of two years from the date of purchase

1 Year Limited Warranty on Manufacturers Defects

Vista Patio Doors warrants against any defects on all components that have been deemed to be caused by the manufacturer for a period of one year after the date of original installation.

Exclusions from this Warranty

Glass shattering, breaking, distorting or seal failure arising from neglect, misuse improper installation or failure to provide maintain the product as per the guidelines set out in Vista’s maintenance manual.

This warranty is null and void if the product has been exposed to any or all, but not limited to, staining, dirt build up, cleaning solvents made with harmful chemicals and overexposure the sun or other heat sources.

Acts of God, exposure to air, wind and rainfall that exceed the limits set out in the products structural test results are excluded from this warranty.

Painted product which has been subject to normal weathering is not covered by this warranty. Uniform changes in color might occur, over time, when coated products are exposed to the sun’s ultraviolet rays and therefore is not covered under this warranty. Uneven weathering due to uneven exposure to the sun’s rays are not covered.

Incidental damages to walls, surfaces or structures due, but not limited, to settlement, distortion or warping to which Vista products are applied are not warranted.

All product malfunctions covered by this warranty will be repaired or replaced by Vista Patio Doors Inc. in accordance with the provisions set out herein.

Transportation costs and labour costs are excluded from this warranty.

How to make a Warranty Claim

If you feel that you have a defect in your Capri 2.0 that is covered under the provisions set out in this warranty please contact Vista Patio Doors Client Care Department as soon as possible with a detailed description of the deficiency and proof of purchase, that is an original invoice showing order details and shipping date, your purchase order and/or purchase tag, and contact information for the property owners where the door has been installed.

When making a claim under the Lifetime Limited, Non-Prorated Warranty on Insulated Glass for defects or failures you must provide Vista Patio Doors Inc. the information that has been stamped in the corner of the insulated unit(s) and the information printed on the spacer of the insulated unit on which you are making a claim.

In the event that Vista Patio Doors changes any part of the Capri 2.0 , including hardware colors or glass suppliers or types Vista will not be liable to the original owner. Should this occur while a product is under warranty Vista Patio Doors reserves the right to replace such parts or products with parts or products of an equal value.

Field Inspections and Services

In the event of a product or component failure it is the responsibility of the final seller or distributor of the Capri 2.0 to visit, assess and perform the necessary repair.

Should it become apparent that the problem has occurred because of a manufacturing defect. Vista Patio Doors will take one of the following courses of action. At the sole discretion of Vista Patio Doors Inc.

1. Replace the entire product free of charge.

2. Refund the net selling price to the final seller/distributor.

(This would be the price the final seller/distributor paid for the door. Vista will not accept responsibility for incidental costs.)

3. Vista will provide the final seller/distributor with on sight assistance in order to identify and rectify said problem.

4. Any field visit by a Vista Patio Doors Inc. representative must be in the company of the original seller/distributor.

Any repair or replacement of components, kits or doors does not extend the warranty period. That period will remain the same.
